Security Installation Specialist

Dallas, TX

  • Performs service/installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed circuit television systems, and other various security related systems.
  • Works closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training.  Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.
  • Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
  • Provides basic installation assistance as directed by project lead.
  • Makes suggestions for installation methods to improve profitability and quality.
  • Responsible for learning and performing tasks of a Security System Specialist in order to progress through the trade program.
  • Will be responsible for providing basic hand tools as required to perform the daily tasks of the position.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
