Promote DAC’s competencies in the Building Automation line of business, generating leads and turning those leads into sales success. You will estimate, quote, negotiate, and sell building automation and laboratory control solutions on negotiated, design build, and plan and specification projects in a timely, profitable, and responsive manner. This candidate must be able to forge and grow new relationships within the customer base via direct touch to drive revenue growth while ensuring internal alignment.
Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned account leveraging all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services)
Drive revenue growth through new project identification, creation, and attach opportunities
Forecast and report activity accurately in line with expectations
Identify major projects within end-user accounts and manage activities to maximize product and service revenue
Provide customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required
Forge high-level relationships within A/E, Contractor and End-user accounts to win incremental product and service business
Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion
Assist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordingly
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field
Minimum of five years of previous, relevant engineering, field service experience preferred
Experience in one or more of the following industries preferred: building automation, HVAC equipment or product manufacturing and/or mechanical consulting
Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize corporate revenue growth
Any credentials, including: LEED GA/AP, CEM, FE. Or PE
